Giving Back with Purpose: Keller Williams RED Day & Our Partnership with the Rochester Sunshine Rotary Club

At the Strategic Partners Team, real estate has always been about more than buying and selling homes. It’s about building relationships, strengthening communities, and finding ways to serve the people around us with purpose and care. One of the most meaningful ways we get to do that each year is through Keller Williams’ annual RED Day alongside our continued involvement with the Rochester Sunshine Rotary Club.

For the last four years, our team has been incredibly grateful for the opportunity to volunteer, give back, and spend time serving our local community through this partnership. Events like these remind us that even small acts of kindness can create lasting impact.

What Is Keller Williams RED Day?

Keller Williams RED Day stands for “Renew, Energize, and Donate” and is Keller Williams’ annual company-wide day of service. Held each year on the second Thursday of May, RED Day encourages associates across the country to step away from their normal business routines and dedicate their time to volunteering within their local communities.

RED Day began in 2009 as a way to honor the legacy of Keller Williams co-founder Mo Anderson and her commitment to servant leadership, generosity, and community impact. Since then, RED Day has grown into an international movement with thousands of Keller Williams agents, leadership members, and staff participating in volunteer projects each year.

From community cleanups and food drives to supporting local nonprofits and assisting families in need, RED Day reflects the belief that strong communities are built through service, compassion, and teamwork.

For many within Keller Williams, RED Day is more than just a volunteer event. It is a reminder that success means little if we are not using it to positively impact the people and communities around us.

What Is the Rochester Sunshine Rotary Club?

Rochester Sunshine Rotary Club is a local chapter of Rotary International dedicated to community service, leadership, and humanitarian efforts throughout the Rochester area and beyond.

Rotary Clubs around the world focus on the idea of “Service Above Self,” bringing together individuals and organizations that want to make a meaningful difference in their communities. Through volunteer work, fundraising efforts, youth programs, and community outreach initiatives, Rotary Clubs help support causes that improve lives both locally and globally.

The Rochester Sunshine Rotary Club has become known for its strong commitment to helping the Greater Rochester community through hands-on service projects and partnerships with local organizations. Their dedication to bringing people together for positive change is something our team deeply admires and appreciates being part of.

Four Years of Gratitude & Community Involvement

For the past four years, our team has been fortunate enough to work alongside Keller Williams and the Rochester Sunshine Rotary Club during RED Day initiatives and volunteer opportunities. These experiences have given us the chance to step outside of our day-to-day business roles and reconnect with what truly matters: helping people.

Whether it’s assisting with community projects, supporting local initiatives, or simply spending time working together toward a greater purpose, these opportunities have become something our team looks forward to every single year.

We are incredibly thankful to Keller Williams for continuing to prioritize community involvement and creating a culture where giving back is encouraged and celebrated. Having the ability to dedicate time to volunteer work not only strengthens our communities, but also strengthens our team as individuals.
